4. Converse
Marquis Mills Converse established the company in 1908 as the Converse Rubber Shoe Company. In 1915, it began making tennis shoes. He designed a high-top sneaker that became the classic we know today as “Chuck Taylor.”
5. New Balance
New Balance was established in 1906 as the New Balance Arch Support Company. 6. Fila
