September: A traveller's best kept secret

September may signal the end of summer, but that doesn't mean your chances for travelling are over. On the contrary, September is the perfect month for booking a ticket to one of the more expensive travel locations that may scare you away during the high seasons.
Imagine the jealousy on your friends' faces when they discover that you went to London or Italy at a fraction of the cost that they paid only a few months ago? All-inclusive trips to tropical islands can also be purchased at the last minute at very reasonable rates.
And the money you'll save isn't the only perk when you travel in September. You'll avoid the crowds of tourists that tend to swarm vacation hot spots during the holiday season. It's also that perfect transitioning period from summer to fall, when the temperature is neither too cool, nor too hot.
As a kid I always loved September because it was time to go back to school. Now, as an adult, I'm even more appreciative of all the students who go back to school and all the vacationers who return to work in September: as long as they keep travelling in the summer months, September will be my best kept secret!
