As you probably know the 2010 Winter Olympics came to a close a few days ago. After 16 days of hosting the world's best athletes in Canada we are forced to recognize what each country has to offer.
At the beginning of the year we compiled a list of interesting countries, and with Germany at the top of the medal standings we wanted to know what other cool things they had to offer.
Frankfurt Germany is a tourist hot spot with things to do and see for people of all ages. For a more mature trip we suggest going to the opera or attending ballet. There are also many historical sites, such as cathedrals, which are worth the visit.
During the day you should wander around Messe Frankfurt, one of the largest exhibition centers in the world.
For families with younger children you may skate at Eissporthalle, or shop at flea markets and various malls. The Sportpark Kelkheim might interest you as they allow parents to golf and play squash while children participate in indoor rock climbing and high rope.
Lastly, if you find you're missing home while you're on your travel you can always turn to Turmpalast which shows movies in English.
