Maximize Your Flight Experience

Cramped, tight, uncomfortable, etc. Sound familiar? These are just a few words often used to describe a flight experience. To get the most out of your plane trip, preparation and awareness are key. Here are a few tips that have helped me to have a relaxed and comfortable flight experience over the years:
- Think comfort when deciding what to wear, especially for long flights.
- Pack what you'll need during your flight into a bag that will fit under the seat in front of you. This will save you the hassle of having to access the overhead compartment for your carry-on luggage throughout the flight.
- Stretch every 2-3 hours. There are stretches than you can do in your seat or in the aisle, as long as it's safe to do so.
- Stay hydrated throughout your flight. Make sure you drink water during the flight, but don't overdo it, otherwise you'll find yourself waiting in line for the washroom quite often.
- Bring a comfortable travel pillow to support your neck and head in case you fall asleep.
