Maximize Your Flight Experience

Cramped, tight, uncomfortable, etc. Sound familiar? These are just a few words often used to describe a flight experience. To get the most out of your plane trip, preparation and awareness are key. Here are a few tips that have helped me to have a relaxed and comfortable flight experience over the years:

  1. Think comfort when deciding what to wear, especially for long flights.
  2. Pack what you'll need during your flight into a bag that will fit under the seat in front of you. This will save you the hassle of having to access the overhead compartment for your carry-on luggage throughout the flight.
  3. Stretch every 2-3 hours. There are stretches than you can do in your seat or in the aisle, as long as it's safe to do so.
  4. Stay hydrated throughout your flight. Make sure you drink water during the flight, but don't overdo it, otherwise you'll find yourself waiting in line for the washroom quite often.
  5. Bring a comfortable travel pillow to support your neck and head in case you fall asleep.

Improving the travel experience one trip at a time!
