The Wolf Pack is... Not growing?

With summer just around the corner, I am packing my bags, smothering on some sun block and looking for my next trip! I can't wait to board that plane and be off on my next adventure, but there is one little problem holding me back. I can't seem to find a travel buddy.

I'm learning that finding the right travel buddy is hard, but crucial for a successful trip! Depending on what you are planning to do at your destination of choice, make sure to look for a companion with similar interests. When opposite agendas meet, there can be a lot of heartache and disappointment.

Whether you plan on relaxing or taking on a whole world of adventure, don't settle for opposing agendas, instead find someone you have similar interests with or someone willing to compromise!

Here are some tips to find the right buddy:

• Ask family or friends first - they are more likely to share interests with you.
• Reconnect with old friends - there is a chance that one of them may be in a business trip, a vacation or may have even moved to your location of choice.
• Use on-line services. The on-line world offers many websites specifically designed to help you find the right travel companion.
• Stay at a hostel and make new friends, then stick with them - but remember you will need to be ready to compromise.

Don't forget that while it may be hard to find someone with a similar agenda to yours, it is always safer to travel in a pack!
