Ohanami: The Special Beauty of Japan

Jan 27, 2010 || 4:40:00 PM -- by Sasha Mohammed

Ohanami is one reason why you should visit Japan between now and mid-March. Ohanami is Japanese for "flower viewing" and is the tradition of observing the cherry blossoms for the two weeks that they bloom each year. Because of their beauty and fleeting time with us, Ohanami is a breathtaking experience for anyone privilaged enough to witness it.

That escaping beauty will arrive shortly in Japan and with the weather bureau declaring to the exact blooming dates, we all have the opportunity to see the phenomenon this year.

What are your reasons for wanting to visit Japan? Or if you have already, what sights made your vacation memorable?

Improving the travel experience one trip at a time!
