Fare is Fair

I'm not a very tech-savvy girl, but every once in a while something just makes perfect sense to me.

I was reading the travel section of the Toronto Star and there was an article that mentioned a new travel application for tourists called the Airport Transit Guide.

The $9.99 iPhone app by Salk International is the digitized version of a travel guide they have been publishing for 28 years now.  It gives you tips on bus fares and taxi fares, and lets you know all your options for getting from the airport to where you actually want to be. Now you won't have to be the tourist who starts off their vacation by getting ripped off by an overpriced cab.

Because I travel a lot and I'm always seeing different cities with different ways of doing things, this application can really help me out if I end up lost or stranded. The last thing I would want is to get into trouble in a place I'm not familiar with, especially if I'm with family.

Now I'll know how to get to or from my plane, and I'll know if the fare is fair.
